We are full of joy to announce that The Hot Potato has just been selected to develop and grow within the green fields of the Orange Grove!
Orange Grove is a flexible coworking space and networking community for young entrepreneurs in Greece. It is an initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Athens, financially supported by Greek and Dutch companies in Greece and local charity foundations. The project is a result of broad community support, university affiliations, highly committed mentor networks, as well as supportive sponsors and partners.
Among others, the initiative offers a mentoring and educational program, networking events, bootcamps and pitching competitions. Within this community The Hot Potato aims at incubating its ideas, accelerate through the startup cycles, and bring marketing professionals the most useful collaboration platform they have seen yet.
The workshops for 2017 have just started on the 25th of November. Prof. Uzi de Haan from Technion (Haifa) and Cornell (New York), a renowned international expert in technology entrepreneurship, shared his knowledge and expertise on scaling at Orange Grove. It seems he likes the community too, as he stated: “I was very impressed about how mature the Orange Grove startups are and how much thought went into their ideas. They really understand the meaning of entrepreneurship”.
On Wednesday the 30th of November, Orange Groves’ newcomers have been welcomed by the Dutch ambassador in Athens, Caspar Veldkamp. The Hot Potato is thus, now officially on board!
